2015 Science Without Borders Challenge: This annual international art competition is open to kids ages 11-19 worldwide. This year's theme is "Reef Relationships"; to enter, submit an original art work that reflects this theme. Judging will be done in two age categories (middle school and high school) with a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner in each age category. Prizes are:
1st place winners: $500 scholarship
2nd place winners: $350 scholarship
3rd place winners: $200 scholarship

US Kids Magazine Cover Contest: This kids' art contest is brought to you by the publishers of Jack and Jill Magazine and Humpty Dumpty Magazine. Kids who are ages 2-12 who are residents of the United States are eligible to enter. Prizes are as follows: 1st place $500, 2nd place $250, and 3rd place $100. Winner will also see their own artwork on the cover of either Jack and Jill or Humpty Dumpty for the May/June 2015 issue. To enter, create an original artwork with the contest theme, "My Very Own Circus" (only one entry per person). Entries are due by February 27, 2015.
2015 International Visual Arts Competition: Sponsored by French organization Centre Pour L'Unesco Louis Francais, this international art contest is open to those who are between the ages of ages 3 to 25, with judging being done in 6 age groups. Deadline to enter is March 2, 2015. Winners in age groups under 18 will receive: "1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded a prize of € 100, € 85 and € 75.
The following winners will be rewarded. An honorary diploma will be delivered or mailed to each winner and each nominee." Art creations must be done on a flat surface; only one entry per person.
Youthful Expressions Art Contest: Students in grades K-12 (ages 5-18) are invited to participate in this kids' art competition. Judging is in four age categories, with cash prizes being awarded to kids in 1st-3rd place in each category. Two entrants will also win the People's Choice Awards and two others will win the Grand Prize cash awards. Cash prizes for all awards range from $5-$50 and are subject to change (may go higher) depending on contest sponsorship. To enter, submit an original artwork that is inline with this year's contest theme "live slow enough". There are three art categories: drawing, painting, and digital art. Entries are due by February 27, 2015. (NOTE: There is a $3 fee to enter this contest.)
U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Carbon Monoxide Poster Contest: Kids who are USA residents and are in grades 6, 7, or 8 may enter this art contest by creating a poster that shows the dangers of carbon monoxide. The deadline to enter is February 27, 2015. Prizes are: Top winner in each grade level will each win $500; one of those 3 winners will win an additional grand prize of $1,000. Also, one public vote winner will receive $500 savings bond.
American Kidney Fund 2015 Calendar Art Contest: Kids who are 16 or younger, have kidney disease, are on dialysis or have received a kidney transplant, and live in the United States are eligible to enter. Thirteen winners will be chosen to have their artwork published in the calendar. Deadline to enter is February 20, 2015.
"Be Ready, Be Buckled" Art Contest: The United States Department of Transportation FMSCA is sponsoring this art contest for kids to encourage everyone to buckle up. To enter, create an original artwork that best illustrates the importance of commerical motor vehicle drivers to use seatbelts. Judging will be in two age categories: kindergarten through 2nd grade, and 3rd-6th grade. Deadline to enter is February 27, 2015. For complete details, click here. Prizes are as follows: two grand prize winners (one in each age category) will win cash, a copy of their artwork mounted and framed, and be honored at an awards ceremony. Twelve students will be featured in the 2016 calendar and will receive a certificate of appreciation.
Animal Rescue Kid's Art Contest: Art contest for kids ages 16 and under. Enter this monthly contest by submitting a drawing of their favorite animal. Winner and five runners up will receive "animal rescue" prize package. Open to US residents only.
Lions Club International Peace Poster Art Contest: This annual art competition from Lion's Club International has reopened; its 2014-2015 contest theme is "Peace, Love and Understanding". Children ages 11, 12, or 13 worldwide are invited to participate; deadline is November 15, 2015. Grand prize is $5000 and a trip to the special awards ceremony; 23 merit winners will receive $500 US dollars and a certificate of achievement. Worldwide Kids Drawings: This is a biannual kid's art contest: first contest is from January through June; second contest runs from July through December. Drawings must be original and not traced or copied. First place is $1000, Second Place is $500 and Third place is $250. A submission fee of $5.00 is required. Contest is judged in three categories: ages 6-8, ages 9-12, and ages 13-17; open to kids worldwide.
FreeKidsCrafts.com: This is a monthly contest; kids ages 3-12 may create an original craft made from basic craft or household items and enter by submitting a photo. Four contributors chosen to win $50 in free craft materials.
CelebratingArt: Contest is for kids in grades K-12, with four contest divisions by age. Over $5,000 in prizes will be awarded to teachers and students. Two contests will run; first entry deadline is December 3, 2014. Second contest will run from December 3, 2014--April 9, 2015. Teachers can submit students art and students can submit their own artwork.
