U.S. Kids Annual Cover Contest: Do you have an artist and a child who loves to draw? Enter to win for their Artwork featured on outside front cover of magazine and Cash Prize for School: $500. Residents of the U.S. between the ages of 2 and 12 may enter the art contest. Ends February 13, 2017.

2017 Graceful Envelope Contest:  The 23rd annual Graceful Envelope Contest is sponsored by the Washington, DC Calligraphers Guild and the National Association of Letter Carriers. 2017 Contest Theme: Pushing the Envelope.  This is the year to challenge your creativity and push the envelope by applying some big ideas to a small canvas.   Entries will be divided into the following groups Grades 9-12, Grades 5-8, and Grades 1-4.  See additional details in the call for entries.  Deadline for entries March 27, 2017 . 


Toyota Dream Car Art Contest: Toyota invites children from all over the globe to share ideas about the future of mobility by drawing their dream cars. Open to all students in grades K-12.  You can use any standard drawing medium you like. Perhaps you could try coloring pencils, crayons, watercolors or markers The only restriction is that you don't use digital tools to create your artwork.  Age categories: 7 years old and under; 8-11 years old; 12-15 years old.  The contest timeline and requirements may vary in different countries or regions.  Please confirm the contest details with the TOYOTA distributor in the country or region of your residence Last day of submission is March 31, 2017.  See entry guidelines here.

Bow Seat 2017 Ocean Awareness Student Contest:  Express your creativity to reflect this year’s theme of Ocean Pollution: Challenges & Solutions. Entries can be submitted in the following categories: Art, Poetry, Prose, and Film.  Entries will be divided into the following groups    Middle School: 6th-8th grade, or International or Homeschool Equivalent and High School 9th-12th grade, or International or Homeschool Equivalent.  See additional details can be found on the contest page.  Deadline for entries June 19, 2017. 


Animal Rescue Kid's Art Contest:  Art contest for kids ages 16 and under. Enter this monthly contest by submitting a drawing of their favorite animal.  Winner and five runners up will receive "animal rescue" prize package.  Open to US residents only.

FreeKidsCrafts.com: This is a monthly contest; kids ages 3-12 may create an original craft made from basic craft or household items and enter by submitting a photo.  Four contributors chosen to win $50 in free craft materials.




Lions Club International Peace Poster Art Contest:  This annual art competition from Lion's Club International has reopened; its 2017-2018 contest theme is "The Future of Peace".  Children ages 11, 12, or 13 worldwide are invited to participate; deadline is November 15, 2017.  Grand prize is $5000 and a trip to the special awards ceremony; 23 merit winners will receive $500 US dollars and a certificate of achievement.  Watch the video below to look at the posters created by past winners to get ideas of what this contest is looking for.  Each Kit costs $11.95 plus shipping, handling and applicable taxes
Worldwide Kids Drawings:  This is a biannual kid's art contest: first contest is from January through June; second contest runs from July through December.  Drawings must be original and not traced or copied.  First place is $1000, Second Place is $500 and Third place is $250.  A submission fee of $5.00 is required.  Contest is judged in three categories:  ages 6-8, ages 9-12, and ages 13-17; open to kids worldwide.
